My favourite knit so far this year has been my zephyr style rusted root. I love the colour, fit and style. It was the first time I'd done a more complicated lace pattern. Knit in gorgeous brown sheep cotton fleece too.

I also love my ocean waves shawl designed by Anni. Very Happy

I hand-dyed the yarn especially and I think it was the first time I actually felt like I conquered my fear of lace knitting. Laughing

They're both gorgeous, CJ. And I love how the yarn turned out for Ocean Waves. Perfect. Are you doing any more lace?

It's definately on Rav though. Wink

yes, lace is not so scary, just got to make sure I can place my markers and get plenty of peace and quiet or else I bodge it up. Rolling Eyes

Anni, I'm currently knitting a shoalwater in very yummy Wollmeise. Razz

Sticking to 4ply though, cos laceweight taxes my little brain too much at the moment. Embarassed
