My favourite knit so far this year has been my zephyr style rusted root. I love the colour, fit and style. It was the first time I'd done a more complicated lace pattern. Knit in gorgeous brown sheep cotton fleece too.
I also love my ocean waves shawl designed by Anni. I hand-dyed the yarn especially and I think it was the first time I actually felt like I conquered my fear of lace knitting.

Thanks
at pictish. yes, I think I put it up on here a while ago. Maybe I forgot. It's definately on Rav though.
yes, lace is not so scary, just got to make sure I can place my markers and get plenty of peace and quiet or else I bodge it up.
Anni, I'm currently knitting a shoalwater in very yummy Wollmeise. Sticking to 4ply though, cos laceweight taxes my little brain too much at the moment. _________________ Ravelry ID ~ ChristinaJL |

Both are really super knits. I might follow your lead and make a rusted root one of these days! _________________
