My favourite knit so far this year has been my zephyr style rusted root.  I love the colour, fit and style.  It was the first time I'd done a more complicated lace pattern.  Knit in gorgeous brown sheep cotton fleece too.

I also love my ocean waves shawl designed by Anni.   Very Happy   I hand-dyed the yarn especially and I think it was the first time I actually felt like I conquered my fear of lace knitting.   Laughing  Laughing

They're both gorgeous, CJ. And I love how the yarn turned out for Ocean Waves. Perfect. Are you doing any more lace?

Thanks   Mr. Green  Mr. Green

Laughing  Laughing  at pictish.  yes, I think I put it up on here a while ago.  Maybe I forgot.   Confused   It's definately on Rav though.   Wink

yes, lace is not so scary, just got to make sure I can place my markers and get plenty of peace and quiet or else I bodge it up.   Rolling Eyes

Anni, I'm currently knitting a shoalwater in very yummy Wollmeise.   Razz   Sticking to 4ply though, cos laceweight taxes my little brain too much at the moment.   Embarassed
