I know most of you reading are in the UK, and it's March already for several hours. But here in MN, it's just half past midnight. I finished my February pair with just seconds to spare, I was weaving in the last end at 11:59.
Here's a photo from when I only had one sock finished, so you can see the pattern and colors:
And here's a quicky snapped just moments before they hit the sink (they were bleeding everywhere as I knit), to prove that there is, in fact, a full pair:
I hope I got my post in on time to qualify for this month!
I had hoped to knit 2 pair this month to catch up for missing January, but these giant-man socks were too much. I'm sticking to knitting for normal sized feet (i.e., mine) from here on out!

| Yeah, they're men's size 12 - the foot was just about a foot long! I love my dad and all, but I don't think he's getting any more socks for a long, long time! |

I suppose I should give some details. The yarn is Schaefer Anne http://www.schaeferyarn.com/annesample.htm
There wasn't a tag on the yarn when I bought it, so I don't know the colorway. Without the flash, it looks almost black. After washing out all the excess dye, you can see more and more that it's navy, purple and green.
The pattern is just one of the basic socks from Sensational Knitted Socks, I think she called it "Baby Cable Rib".
I knit it on size 1 (2.25 mm). They are men's size 12 narrow. |
