I've got a poor little Lacy Scallop sock that needs a partner but before that I need to finish some of my Christmas knitting.

I cast on for the first sock on Christmas Day which I received as a present from a friend in Canada as I couldn't resist it. The pattern is Yarn Over Cable from SKS.

The second was started this evening & I've just started the pattern having completed the toe:

Once I've finished this one I'll go back to my Lacy Scallop so that I can start a new pair in February with a clear conscience.

That's beautiful yarn blueadt. I'm feeling terrible already and it's only the first day of 2007, all these lovely socks already OTN and I haven't started.

I've put the first sock up on my blog if you want to see the pattern in a bit more detail. I'll make sure that DH takes a detailed pattern shot when they're finished.
