I managed to kill the grass/weeds in a wee part of the 'midden' so I decided to cover it with cardboard and hopefully that will keep the little darlings from reappearing I also decided to use grow bags this year to grow my sprouts (10 plants from Homebase) and I've sown some Rudbeckia, Coreopsis, Nasturiums and lettuce inbetween the plants.
DH has said that instead of buying a wee greenhouse he thinks I should go for a fairly big polytunnel, it will withstand the wind better. I'm therefore just going to get rid of the rest of the weeds and flatten the area and once the polytunnel is in place then I will start laying down some nice compost

How are everyone else doing with their veggies? I'm sure I'm not the only one who tries to grow them _________________ ravelry id : janice61

Ours are coming on nicely.
The pots are coming through now as are the carrots, brocoli, peas, broad beans, runner beans, lettuce, courgettes, beetroot, radish, leeks.
Oh and strawberries.
Sure I must of forgotten some. _________________ Fi, The Beach Babe |

well i'm supposed to be updating the blog.....but anyway we've just started for the first time...lettuce , radish, spring onions. Then there's peppers and chilli peppers, tomatos (and cucumber from seed - which may not work )
We do have strawberries though.... _________________
