I saw this - Caprice - on Rav and absolutely love it!!! I have found it on the person's blog and it is their own design (not a published one) so am going to have a go at making something like it but not sure what the vertical stitch pattern is Does it look familiar to anyone or can you think of something (non-lacy ) I could put in it's place??
I have PMd the person on Rav - just thinking I could also see whether she has said anything on her blog about the stitch she used
ETA here is a clearer picture of the zigzag stitch here .

I have a cardi pattern at home that looks quite similar - I'll have a look and take a pic tonight.

Thanks Cazzie/Linda!!! I don't use stitch patterns but I much would like to a bit more!! Otherwise what I might do is just purl a couple of stitches I think - I have seen a pattern in 1000 Sweaters which has a similar effect. I have 2 Harmony Guides but not the whole set
It's a lovely top tho isn't it!! I am going to try to design a similar one using SW or Ann Budd. _________________ Ali xxx |
