Anni's December Sockamania pattern.
I took them away with me at the beginning of the month, but forgot the pattern, so I used the Cedar arch expansion from the New Pathways book instead of a traditional heel.
The red yarn is Knit Picks Palette, and the off-white is Knit Picks Bare Merino.
This was my first time knitting with two colours, and it was great fun! The stranding makes the leg lovely and warm.

How festive Ali, you obviously found colour work easy to conquer. That's something I haven't tried but keep telling myself I will. One of these days.......
Two lots of snowflakes in the December thread now _________________

Thank you!
I wouldn't say i found it easy, craftylady, but it was definitely fun, and worth the effort. There was ripping and tweaking before I got them to fit my chubby legs!
I'm looking at that photo, and realise you can just see my long keks tucked into the socks! I used to snigger at people who wore thermals....
