Laughing
I've started on the Baby Bamboo, i just couldn't resist it any longer!
Three blocks finished and probably another nine to go - i must remember to weigh these three, i'm panicking a bit that i won't have enough yarn to finish 12 blocks Confused
Annnnnyway - here is block #197 - Fretwork

(click for bigness)

block #35 - Tricolour Square

(click for bigness)

and Block #55 - Centred Square

(click for bigness)
god the flash really killed the colours on that one! i need to find my filter thingy Confused

And here's just a little pic of how the fading has affected it, i actually htink it looks lovely, it adds a subtle shading to the finished work, just like a semi-solid hand-dyed yarn Smile

Looks good! I must have another go at crochet - I planned to make a big throw for our sofa. Bought some cotton yarn and I've got the 200 blocks book too.

Thankyou ladies Smile

It is an excellent book and i have to say having Ravelry to look at other people's pattern choices has really helped! Go for it Sharon, you won't regret it!

I was going to go for just one or two different squares and rotate the colours but i have decided to go all out and do all different squares in a random colour sequence.
I am liking the result so far and i've only got three squares done. I think it's the beauty of the bamboo, the shades just go so well together that it doesn't matter which colours you put with each other Smile

They are beautiful Franney, and I love the effect that the fading has produced.
